WI-130 Batching System

This system controls a four ingredient, two-speed batching system. Storage is provided for 500 formulas, each with four ingredients. A batch report is available to print up to 500 completed batch transactions from the transaction database.

Prior to operating the system, ingredients, tolerances, and formulas must be setup. Each ingredient has a set of auto-adjusting preact parameters, a tolerance range, high speed target, and dribble speed target.

To begin a batch, the operator presses the BATCH key. The system prompts for a formula number. After entering the desired formula, various information about the formula is displayed on the screen.

If the formula is correct, the operator enters the size batch to run. To run a full size batch, a value of 100 should be entered. If a half size batch is desired, enter a value of 50.

The system tares the scale and begins batching the first ingredient. Once the target for the first ingredient is reached, the supply valve is closed. The batch cycle continues for each of the four ingredients. Once the batch is complete, the system saves the ingredient information for use in the report. The system will then dump the batch until the weight of the scale drops below the empty threshold.

To print the transaction report, which lists all completed batches stored in the system, the operator presses the REPORT key. Other reports available include a formula list and an ingredient list.
