Center of Gravity Weighing System

This system is generally used by companies that load cargo onto a truck or airplane, and need to distribute the weight to achieve the best balance.

The system consists of a single WI-130 and three pairs of weigh bars supporting a weighing platform.

The WI-130 program enables the operator to display each individual scale weights and the total weight of the platform, or the center of gravity. Pressing the F1-key alternates between the weight display and the center of gravity display.

The system will display the center of gravity in inches when weighing in the LBS mode, and in centimeters when weighing in the KG mode.

To calculate the center of gravity, a reference point on the platform must first be determined. The reference point can be located anywhere on the platform.

The distance, in inches, from the reference point to each of the three pairs of load cells is then entered into the system by pressing the F5-key.

Finally, by pressing the PRINT key, the system will print a ticket showing the scale weights and the center of gravity.
