Production & Barcode Label Printing System

This application, featuring a WI-130 and a label printer, controls a light system and a filling mechanism for a batching process. The program is capable of storing 1000 transactions which are printed on a report.

The operator begins by entering the Shift, Operator ID, Product ID, Tare Weight of the container, Final Target Weight for the product, and a target Warning Percentage.

Once this information is entered, the green light is turned on to indicate the system is ready to batch the product into the container. The filling mechanism is also activated, and the operator begins filling the container.

When the target Warning Percentage has been reached, the green light is turned off and the yellow light is turned on. This indicates the batch is almost complete.

Once the Final Target Weight is reached, the yellow light and the filling mechanism is turned off, and the red light is turned on, indicating a completed batch.

The operator then presses the PRINT key to print a label and store the transaction in memory.

These transactions can then be printed later to a serial dot-matrix printer. After the report is printed, the transaction database is automatically emptied.

The label includes a bar-code for the Product ID and Net Weight. The bar-code uses Code 39 symbology.
